Hey, I’m Luke — WRITER / DIRECTOR / CINEMATOGRAPHER, based in Bristol, UK (though Italy is slowly calling me home).

My work spans documentary and branded films, with a focus on environmental and social stories where I feel most aligned as a visual storyteller. I’ve been in the creative world for over a decade, working worldwide as both a freelance director and cinematographer. My time in the lighting department on film and TV dramas as a spark, gave me the know-how to approach every project with confidence and efficiency.

Alongside client and DOP work, I use YouTube as a space to share my process: the craft of filmmaking, photography, and the headspace behind creativity. Sometimes the films I make are raw documentaries, sometimes they’re messy experiments, and sometimes they’re just me following an idea until it either collapses or reveals something real.

It’s not a polished “how-to” channel; it’s the back catalogue of a filmmaker still figuring it all out one project at a time. At the heart of it, I love the essence of creativity, and I’m simply trying to spread a little hope and joy through my small corner of the internet.
